City are now 2nd in the league after a scrappy 2-0 win over Huddersfield. Record low crowd of 13000 watched it, but if we feel climbing the table, I'm sure they will come running back.
First half was really laboured and poor. If I'm honest Huddersfield looked more likely to score. Kenwyne had a good chance but the 'keeper saved well. Mason also looked looked lovely in the hole between the midfield and Kenwyne.
0-0 half time. Second half stated as the first half ended- slowly. Kenwyne missed a great chance in the second half, before being taken off which drew boos from the City crowd.

But once again Slade was spot on as Ameobi came on and changed the game.
People say that Slade hasn't made any good signings, but Ameobi must be one. If used well he could be one of the best players in the league. Their defence couldn't handle him and he produced a great comeback and Pilkington finished neatly to put City 1-0 up against his old club.
City fans stated started singing 'Bring Ali back'.
Mason went through and finished well to secure the points for City. Good teams win when they don't play well, and we did that today. Russell Slade has taken a lot of stick, but slowly we are improving and even his biggest doubters can't deny that. Time to back him now.
