More austerity over the next 5 years will push people back to Labour.
Appeals to emotion by the left will also push people to Labour who want to get more for themselves.
He will sure up the votes of minorities with no problem whatsoever due to his stance on foreign policy and immigration.
He is the best chance of winning back votes in Scotland and Wales. He is the only candidate who can take votes from the SNP and Plaid Cymru in these countries also.
There is no certainty that the Tories will have a likeable candidate to put forward for 2020.
He is creating a movement for the youth in the country, many of whom will be eligible to vote come 2020.
He offers a real alternative to disgusting corporate loving neoliberalism and the monopolies control.
The more the Tories write them off the better chance they stand to be honest.

Just emphasised how little this is a democracy. MPs not even caring about their constituents.

His politics are opposite to the views I subscribe to in the most part but I am glad he is leader, labour needs to provide an alternative. Since 1997 they've been Tories in red ties.

mass unskilled immigration decimates the working class that corbyn is supposedly standing up for. i agree with some of his sentiments but cannot vote for him.

Bit more complicated than that tbh mate.
Corbyn is of the opinion that recent British military action in places like Iraq and Libya has only made matters worse. More terrorists, more radicals and ultimately more refugees. His argument is that if we launch airstrikes in Syria it will only make all of the above much worse, which is difficult to argue with.
He believes that we should starve ISIS of funds and provide intelligence and military training to other Middle East countries fighting ISIS as that way they will be defeated by fellow Arabs/Muslim countries and not the 'imperial' west. Thus breaking the bloody cycle and lessening the risk to Brits at home and abroad.
