EDDIE MAY BAR TO STAY OPEN FOR THE MAN UTD GAME

Fri Sep 11, 2015 3:26 pm

A good idea from the club to keep a bar open after our home games, for those that drive to games, it gives them somewhere to let the traffic ease off and reduced prices as well, another good decision from Ken Choo   :ayatollah:

"Following the conclusion of Saturday's match between the Bluebirds and Terriers, supporters won’t have to go far to enjoy the day’s big Premier League fixture, between Liverpool and Manchester United – 5:30pm kick-off.

The Eddie May Bar, situated in the concourse area of gate 101 on level two of Cardiff City Stadium (next to the Ticket Office), will remain open following the final whistle to show the late kick-off in full. It will also be showing Russell Slade’s post-Huddersfield Town press conference during the half-time interval. Further events in the Eddie May Bar will run throughout the 2015/16 campaign.

For the duration of the Man Utd vs Liverpool match, lagers, ciders and bitters will be priced at the reduced rate of just £2.50 per pint

Hope the beer tastes better than the piss they sell under the Ninian Stand.

Wonder if they'll keep it open next time the Jacks are on the teatime kick off?

A good idea indeed for those who want to wait for the traffic to clear but so far this season the post match traffic has been fine.

Probably because there's hardly anyone in the stadium during the game!
