He always looks like a player, who has played at a higher level than the other players. Shows what strength in depth we have at the club

He certainly does and weve been saying for nearly a year we have a good strong squad :thumbright: :thumbright:

I think he's improving. Teams always used to play down his side and there was a reason for that. He cost us many goals last season (more than Morrison, who's always been slagged off here). His defensive side is better, but he has more help from Ralls than he ever had in the past.

Can Fabio or Malone play at both LB and RB? Was just thinking maybe it would be good to play them both ahead of Peltier.

Whilst I am certainly not a member of the Fabio fan club, I think he deserves to keep his place. Not so confident about away matches though where he may be called upon to defend more. Which he has proved time and again that he can't.

Definitely deserves a starting place! :thumbright:

He does take some risky runs going forward but he brings some excitement to the game when he does so!

To be honest, Malone hasn't really put a foot wrong, he's had a positive start to the season, and probably the most improved player at the moment from last season. Fabio has now stepped in and you can sense Malone is challenging Fabio to regain his position from him. This can only be good for the team and keep players on their toes.

Have we been watching the same player? He didn't even look championship class last season! Defensively a liability - but has been made to look good by the work Joe Ralls has done in front of him. I am happy to admit that he has played very well and started to look class over the last 2 games, but even against Wimbledon he looked ordinary and vulnerable defensively - a game where Ralls didn't play.

I really hope he continues to play well, but the love in from certain members of this board is not justified.
