CHARLIE AUSTIN LAUGHS OFF UTD LINK

Charlie Austin says rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United were well off the mark.

The QPR striker was expected to leave Loftus Road following the club's relegation to the Championship but no club met the £15m valuation.

United were reportedly tracking Austin but he says that move was never an option. Speaking to TalkSport he said: "No. That was never on the cards. Not from what I'm aware of."
