said this on numurous occasions if 33k people cant sing nat anthem without help there is no hope! its even worse at rugby got around 200 crooners drowning out fans as obviously they have microphones to help them

I wish we didn't bother with national anthems. Just get on with the game. I think that Toshack suggested something similar once. Never heard of any of these singers who sing our anthem, anyway. Cringeworthy on Sunday.
