But hang on wasn't it Welsh taxpayers money who built the stadium in 1999 so shouldn't it be the Welsh taxpayers who get the money from the deal and not the Welsh Rugby Union ?

I hate the word principality for some reason, especially when commentators call us it to describe us (usually that wet public school kunt John inverdale) Now we are gonna here it every 5 fuking minutes when any game is played at the millstad. Hope the money filters down to all grass roots sport, and not just rugby

I always thought The Principality would be a good sponsor for our stadium as it was a company name but was still relevant to the club.
I got speaking to someone at the Principality and they said they wouldn't probably sponsor in such a large scale as they were a building society which was owned by the customers.
What a load of bullshit obviously. The rugger buggers come in and its trousers down.

I find the term 'Principality' derogatory when used in terms of describing Wales. I think it will always be known as The Millennium Stadium, irrelevant of whoever comes in and buys the naming rights. I cannot stand this type of commercial branding. The term 'Peter's Pies Family Stand' just doesn't register with me and they can stick their lips'n'arsholes monstrosities where the sun doesn't shine.

How do you work that out? The Lottery Commission donated £46m and the rest was borrowed in the form of a mortgage by the WRU. They are still paying for it but with this money they could be pretty close to paying it off.
