Turnstile chaos at Ninin Stand Hundreds now coming in

I had a few more pints that I intended having so was rushing to make kick off, the queues were ridiculous to get into the ground around 5 to 5. I know some who didn't get in until the tenth minute. Lucky for me my entrance didn't have a queue so I got in just after the national anthem.

I got to the ground just under 30 minutes before kick off, and the queues for the canton were down to Lidl, and coming across on the grass in line with the Ninian. I got in the ground around 10 minutes after kick off, and the end of the queue was still around Lidl

At kick off did notice couple of area's of empty seats but appeared to be blocks of around 20 seats maybe groups stuck ? They were in family stand and ninian stand by away end., Didn't appear to be more than A hundred or so looking from grandstand!

It confused me. I was in the queue, looking at pictures from inside the ground of the stadium nearly full, then looked up to see huge queues at entrances 3, 4 and 5, with many people still joining on the ends!

Many of us were annoyed that some stewards were just standing around in groups doing nothing. We felt they could have helped in some way, like making sure everyone was in the correct queue or something

Your comment about standing around doing nothing reminds me of another complaint I have about the stadium. At half time, due to my lager mouth I desperately needed a drink. I went down to the concourse and queued for the break. When I get to the till I see three people, two of which having a chat and serving people in the slowest manner possible. I was outraged to say the least.

I think because we get shit crowds the staff were overwhelmed by a full house. Something that needs to be addressed when the plastics return to the city.

That's shocking!

I'm not exactly one of those who think if they're doing nothing, find anything for them to do, but clearly today they could have easily been useful, but instead they just left the crowds build

There's a big difference turning up 5 minutes before kick off at a Cardiff game with 14,000 compared to a Wales game with 33,000... made sure I was at the ground around 45 mins before kick off for the build up :thumbright:

Sounds like it's a good job that I'm one of those types who likes to be in my seat an hour before kick off, reading my programme, having a cup of tea, watching them warming up, and listening to the records!

Incidentally, the announcer paid a nice tribute to Mikey Dye and Simon Insole yesterday. Quite a bit before kick off, though.

Not only is there no booze at these games, the food is diabolical.

I understood that there was going to be a minutes slience for Mikey yesterday because it was 4 years to the day but nothing

The announcer mentioned both Mikey and Simon at the same time, quite a while before kick off. Caught me a bit by surprise, as it was in the middle of a lot of music and other stuff. Still a mention, I suppose.
