Who is telling anyone to go back home?

The world has gone mad, the human race has lost the plot. Everywhere you look, there is absolute carnage going on. If only we could stop all this madness

the world and the people in it have most certainly gone mad. these pictures put things in perspective, we should hold our heads in shame when we thought our world was coming to an end because a billionaire wanted to keep us in the premier league at the cost of changing our colour to red. these people don't what suffering is do they?? till they lived in peace and safety and had they team colours messed around with.

Perhaps it's best to leave dictators in place rather than trying to give other countries residents more freedom, I don't see us trying to rid African countries of there dictatorships as the Chinese are now providing the countries with schools, roads etc to then strip them of any resource they have

If we didn't get involved with bringing down gaddafi etc this wouldn't be happening.
There are plenty of countries around the world where you can't speak against the so called elite especially Russia and who have shameful regimes but were not bombing them to bring them down.

We should allow Syrians in and not sit watching what's happening without doing much accept providing them with tents

I think this is a really sensible post. I am a member of Amnesty International and have my own personal views on refugees. But, at the same time, I also take the view that we are very quick to get into some of these countries without having a solution when the inevitable vacuum happens. Because whenever you leave a country without a leader a vacuum will happen and a vacuum of violence will also happen.

Libya is a perfect example. Country was run by a dictator. The lifestyle might not have been for most of us but he ruled his country since 1969. It was only when there was talk of the Gold Dinar, and the threat this would have on the world economy, that there was talk of getting rid of him. And sure enough it created a vacuum where ISIS walked in.

True refugees , the ones who made it to a safe country and followed the rules of asylum , Should be helped .

Most of the people invading western Europe are not refugees they are economic migrants taking advantage of an awful situation in Syria . Take a look at the difference between the refugees in the camps in Hungary and bordering safe country's who are over the moon to be safe with their family's .
Then look at the groups of young men forcing and chanting their way from country to country until they get what they want . If they were true refugees they wouldn't care about what country they get to . Most are just after a free ride in Germany or the uk They should be turned around and sent home .

This is not just simply a refugee crisis , it is a national security problem as well .

Only allow in refugees from official camps that have registered and have proven they are from where they say they are ,On the condition that they do not get automatic rights to stay in the country and will go home when safe to do so .

The rest should be sent home ASAP . They are committing criminal acts , doing as they want and are showing no respect for the people trying to help them .

There are 4million displaced Syrians! So let Europe take them all oh don't forget the millions of other refuges or migrants waiting to come over when public symaphy is at its highest! If make it easy for them its open season for rest to try come here/Europe.

Pound for pound our foreign aid budget has out stripped most other countries including the USA for donkeys years.This also includes a sizable donation to Jordan to help with the problems you mention.We have nothing to be ashamed of.Its a shame that that bastion of free enterprise(The Balkan states)don't have the same attitude.Your stance is also a tad surprising given less than a month ago you were dissing the welfare state operated in this country for the less fortunate.

I think the Turkish plan is the best one :-

Create a 200 mile safe zone inside Syria - on the Turkish border.
EU countries to provide the food / shelter and more importantly a no fly zone backed up with an army that stops any attack from either Assad or from ISIS (Very similar to the West giving Jewish people an Israeli state)

Syria is a failed state now - it was created by the French post WW2 anyway - it's not based on any particular 'tribe' or religion.

To re house millions and millions of people in Germany / UK / Europe etc is not practical.

If I was seeking refuge from war - I would go to the nearest and safest country - in this case Turkey or Jordan. If you were already in Turkey - then you are not in a war zone, you are not being persecuted or shot at etc.

If Wales was invaded by the Irish - I would leave but I wouldnt travel as far away as Russia - I would go to Scotland or England.

I feel desperatley sorry for all these people - and their but for the grace of God etc - they need to be given help - food - shelter and protection where they are first and foremost.

ps - Where is Russia ? , where is China, where is Saudi Arabia and the other muslim countries in all of this - those are countries and their leaders are the real villains in all of this.

The Russians are supporting the Syrian government, the Muslim countries are all supporting one faction or another in the civil war. Not sure about China, though. Don't think that they have any particular vested interest. Enough problems in their own neck of the woods.

Germany is heading for carnage. 800,000 this year and they predict 1.2 million next year. Sweden give automatic residency to migrants. Sweden is rape capital of Europe and carried out by 99% Muslims.

You don't have a monopoly on compassion and humane sensitivities, just because others believe that there is another way of dealing with this crisis.

You mention Western Civilisations without mentioning that the Middle East, Syria being in Western Asia has seen constant warring and hate between different factions for centuries long before Bush and Blair were ever involved.
