Sky Bet Championship outfit Leeds United have tabled a bid for Cardiff City winger Craig Noone, a club insider from Leeds United has informed Football League World.
Wednesday 2nd Sept 2015
Leeds tabled a bid for Craig Noone and will now look to get him on loan.
Leeds United are looking to strengthen in the wide area even more before the transfer window slamed shut last night, and Noone would definitely add a new element of creativity at Elland Road.
The Yorkshire club have already signed Jordan Botaka who operates as a winger, on deadline day, and the club could be set to add another midfielder in the form of Craig Noone.
New Head Coach Uwe Rosler has set out a clear playing style and system with his Leeds team so far using wide players, however he has had to use Sam Byram, a right-back, further forwards due to the club’s lack of options in that department.
It remains unclear how desperate Championship rivals Cardiff City are to hold on to their wide man so a deal hangs in the balance as time ticks down on deadline day.

He's played really well this season, probably deserves a chance although in fairness so have all the rest of the midfield....

Sorry lads but IMO noone is best coming off the bench
It only takes the opposition 15/20 minutes to work him out and his pace is not the fastest
But when he comes on second half against tired defenders he is proving worth while
I will bet the next time he starts he will not perform as well as he has as a sub![]()
