Think the club did well to keep our best and get rid of a bit of wages.
However, was the loaning out of Rhys Healey the right move by the club? He was another that needed to be brought through as he is now 20.
Do the current management team not rate him or is this the next step towards getting him ready for our first team?
Deffo better that he went to the Scottish Prem as opposed to our Div 1.

I think it's a big move for him , only real competitive football he's played is Welsh league and our development
Great move from the club to this will test him good luck to him

Good move for him and the club - but he did have half a season (21 starts) with Colchester last year.

Dundee sign Cardiff's Rhys Healey on loan, as Simon Ferry exits
Dundee have signed Cardiff City striker Rhys Healey on loan until January.
Now 20, he came through the youth ranks at Welsh Premier League side Connah's Quay Nomads before earning a move to Cardiff where he made his debut in 2014 against Chelsea.
The Englishman was loaned to Colchester for part of last season.
Meanwhile, Simon Ferry has left Dens by mutual consent. The former Swindon and Portsmouth midfielder joined Dundee last summer and made 23 appearances.
The 27-year-old has not played in the first team since the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock on the opening day of the season.

Not an odd one at all. We're going for the play-offs this year and he's done nothing to show he's anywhere near up to the standard yet. Keeping him in the reserves will do him no good, letting him out to get some first team football at a suitable level is exactly what he needs

Youth strikers/goalkeepers are always hard to bring through when there's so much quality in the squad ahead of them, that's why the youth stars you see coming through in top teams (Premier League/Championship) are defenders and midfielders.
Loaning out to lower league teams is always the best option.
