I know it's wishful thinking TrueBlue99 but with the addition of Kevin Nolan to the squad surely promotion to the Premiership would seem like a reality?

Yes, if Nolan was to come in, promotion would be very much on the cards but tbh I think it already is

All this talk about possible signings is entertaining, but let's not forget possible players leaving the club, players who are not on our radar, I think most of us would like to see the back of Revell, but how about Kenwyn Jones,Gunnerson, O,Keefe going ? me personally, I wouldn't loose sleep over any of them going

Kenwyn is hands down our best striker. I think Revell although he's not good enough to Start is the type of hard working battling player you need in your squad for back up in a long physical season

Yeah good idea, let's get rid of our best striker (Jones not Revell) and all of our central midfield cover in Gunnarsson and O'Keefe!

Spot on. I don't think we should sell anyone now, other than obvious deadwood. All we should be doing is getting in a quality midfielder for this level and making a serious statement of intent in regards to our ambitions this season.
Tue Sep 01, 2015 10:53 am
Talking about deadwood i would definitely get rid of Macheda and Revell now that a new striker 'Saadi' has been confirmed on board.

It's almost like they're the same club that paid £41m for Raheem Sterli... oh wait.
Too much money, not enough sense.

Yeah it's crazy, my friend who supports Man City has been hyped but I think they'd be better off keeping Navas on the pitch in his place. He's not likely to replace Sterling or Silva, so he'd only really fit there.

Only 2 and half hours left.
Can't see anything big happening now surely?.
Tue Sep 01, 2015 3:31 pm
I think we have a much more balanced squad than we did this time last year, irrespective of whether we add to it or not. I never agreed with those who said we had the divisions best squad last season, and said at the time we had the biggest, nowhere near the best. This current group of players will easily keep us well away from the relegation battle, and at the end of the season Slade will have done all that can be expected of him by keeping us competitive while slashing costs.
