Our strikers.

Bit underwhelmed with our new signing as I had hoped for Campbell but as ever will give him my full support. Worried about a ligament knee injury though. Sometimes these can ruin careers - like Maynard. Fingers crossed it wasn't a bad one. However, my concern is this- Slade said he had too many players and now he has 6 strikers again (as he did when he came here) and they are not as good They are Jones, Mason, Doyle, Revell, Macheda and now Idriss. Add to this Ameobi. Surely some have to go. We even have Healey. Surely some have to go as we do not need all these and pay their wages for not playing. I suggest Macheda for a start.

I dont think our list of strikers is good enough to be challenging at the top of the championship all season, but lets see how it goes and I would love to be proven wrong.

We are getting rid of Guerra and Velikonja and Doyle on loan so we are left with with a reasonable amount of strikers.
