Well we're well into the season and to be honest how boring the majority of the games have been , no flair, style, substance and just as worryingly few goals .The majority of the games on Sky have been a poor advertisement for what used to be a really exciting division to watch , Blackburn v Bolton for example had to be the most boring and talentless game to date with little action except hoof and watch the ball bounce , really disappointed so far .

Bristol City coming back against Leeds, us drawing with QPR, QPR coming from behind to beat Wolves?

You can't argue about results but some performances have been very poor imo , not picking Cardiff but overall in the league ?

Looks very even to me.
Watching the highlights there have already been some great games.
I've enjoyed our games so far as well

Why is always when we do well our fans come out saying how rubbish the league it was the same the year we walked this league under MALKY we had a good side but still our fans proclaimed how crap the league was.
I don't think it's any diffrent than it was last year Bournemouth were the only standout team IMO Norwich and Watford weren't anything special and IMO Hull will be te only standout team this year.
If we can keep Marshall and Jobes and add another striker then we have a great chance of the playoffs if not then we will be mid table

Like the Premier League, it gets stronger every year as the money slowly filters down and Championship teams loan Premiership players.
It may not be as entertaining as teams are setting up not to lose, but thats the way football is generally going .....

it is slowly filtering down but the gap then between the rest is growing bigger .The PL is more interesting this season because of the so called "big " teams not having the results or performances you'd expect but the they can splash out on a 50 million pound player as if it was pennies

Exactly, the prem is poorer this season too. The big guns are poor making others look better.

The extra PL money will just mean that teams pay £50m for players that used to cost £25m a few years back. The real winners will be foreign teams who hold on to their players for ransoms. Farcical.

The premiership is just as boring. Palace in 3rd.
What I dislike about the championship the most is the fact that Leeds the greatest and biggest club in the country are live on TV week in week out regardless of their position.
Brighton and Ipswich, top of the table clash got 3 minutes of highlights last night, I'm used to that as Leeds are the priority fixture and on the 12th of September another top of the table clash but will be another 3 minute highlights.
What is it with f*cking Leeds being televised live all the time. They're no bigger than Rotherham.

The standard is very weak.Having suffered watching drivel last year I am not convinced that we are anything but lower mid table standard.

Is it weak because we're top and came 5th from bottom last season and shouldn't be where we are, is that what I'm hearing?

Agree.

Part of problem is teams unable to spend anything on players! 2 have embargo's on them other's like ourselves cost cutting (financial fair play) so only couple have spent any real money but as we know that's no garauntee of success.

I think the quality in the Championship this season is as entertaining and interesting as it has been in a while. With better quality players dropping down from the Premiership and some very good foreign players joining the league, that 2-3 years ago we would never of thought that this league could attract these type of players. I absolutely love Championship football or lower league football, I always have and I always will. Personally, I think the Premier league is overrated at times. There were times in the Prem when the atmospheres and the level of quality were worse than the Championship. I find the Premiership very boring at times, I prefer to watch a football game - not including Cardiff City - where either team have got a chance to win and the football on show is really competitive. Not totally one sided, like some of the Premiership games are like. I don't mind staying in the Championship for another ten years, as long as we can stay sustainable as a club and as long as we stay clear of relegation.
Swings and roundabouts, innit.
