I thought slade wanted someone quite powerful, don't think vydra fits into that category unfortunately. Although just thinking of an attack with vydra and jones would be prolific!

Think its more likely to be Tokelo Rantie from Bournemouth. Slade is known friends with Howe and Rantie has been linked before.

I just hope it happens because we may just jam a cheeky spot in top 6 if the run of luck falls right and we have quality at the other end

Vydra's a quality Championship striker that would be an amazing signing. But i'm sure Slade mentioned he's after a big powerful Kenwynne type striker/forward.

I honestly think Vydra is overrated because he's been playing in such a good attacking team with Watford and had such a good striker alongside him in Troy Deeney. In a lesser side, I don't think he would stand out at all.

But also know Hull are interested and hearing that Sheffield weds just made a bid for him as well after their £10m for Ross McCormack was rejected

I can tell you this we had a bid accepted for this player, but he can't agree personal terms with us. What I heard today was the club are trying to get him on a season long loan. So it's very possible that Rantie is the striker coming to you.
