' ADAM LE FONDRE '

Sat Aug 29, 2015 5:12 pm

Wolves striker Adam Le Fondre scored his first goal for the club to fire them to a 2-1 victory against Charlton at Molineux.

Le Fondre, who is on a season-long loan from Cardiff, made amends for a glaring miss just moments earlier when he converted an 85th-minute cross from Benik Afobe as Wolves ended a run of back-to-back league defeats.

He was shit for us, missing a sitter as well, kinda rings a bell doesn't it?!! I can't see him playing for Cardiff again so cut him loose I say. If Wolves want him they can keep him.

He wouldn't get in our starting 11 anyway.

Poor management last year but le fondre would thrive this year in a city team now creating chances, not bucket fulls but a vast improvement :thumbright:

He did miss sitters but he didn't benefit from our style of play and was shot of confidence, but he wanted to go so

Can you explain why poor management ?

This is the thing you post statements then don't back them up - still waiting for a response on the adeyemi thrrad - what do you consider sufficient chances to succeed

Not having a pop just intrigued that's all

Problem was we were playing a terrible style of football, the strikers had no service. Le Fondre was running himself into the ground trying to make a chance, he was knackered every game and when he finally got a chance he didn't have it in him.
Just the wrong player in the wrong system. He got goals elsewhere, I'd bet he would even get goals this season for us.

Don't akways agree with your posts but agree with this, having said that the player wanted to go and in my opinion the door the has to be shown. Think he would thrive in this team

Well it's weird Le Fondre has succeeded at every club except ours, surely it's got something to do with the manager???

And Adeyemi, A young, pacey and energetic midfielder... Doing great job at Leeds, didn't do well for us under Slade, surely got something to do with the manager again?

What's your thoughts?

He had the same number of shots as his first season and more than in his second season at reading when he did score so you can't say he was not getting service it was just he was not converting them

That is not down to poor management that is down to the player

Don't see why we are trying to defend a player who is full of shite - wants to b close to family so played for reading then joined Cardiff and when had a Barron run used the excuse wanted to move up north to be back close - better off without him

Typical player not delivering so engineers a move nothing to do with management at all

average around 12 goals a season over playing career, and lot of goals scored in lower leagues :thumbright: if 12 a season is success so be it!

From watching the games I know he didn't have any service, I think everyone agreed last season the service was awful.
He may have had the same amount of shots but that doesn't mean they were as good chances, it was more hit and hope having run himself into the ground on scraps.

Not really defending him, just my opinion of what I seen. He has gone now so doesn't really matter.

reading fans say he was shit in his last season there that's why he was a sub ,my wolves mate said he missed a load today before he scored just like he did for us ,20 k a week off our week bill good business

f*cking classic.

Tom Adeyemi scores - someone makes a thread about why we shouldn't have let him go
Adam Le Fondre scores - someone makes a thread about why we shouldn't have let him go

Some people don't have a clue how football works I swear, just pure stubbornness against Russell Slade because he's Tan's man and not Malky Mackay.
