"Cardiff cant afford Nolan's wages"

This is what has been said, and I don't think signing him on £50,000 a week would be a good deal at all. However this isn't to say Slade hasn't spoken to him and possibly offered him a more reasonable wage within the budget, as well as bonuses on promotion/goals. The signing of Nolan hasn't been ruled out and I honestly think his representatives may have spoken to us, the rumour surely has something behind it?

Anyone else think the deal is being played down and Cardiff have spoken to him or at least shown an interest?

I think 100% we have spoken him ,I don't think he will be on 50 k a week more like 25k with 250 k signing in fee and bonuses etc
