It has recently been brought to my attention that Slade has said that any new players he brings to the club, will have to fit in with his philosophy, I simply ask what is this mans philosophy regarding his managerial style?

Sign players and not play them perhaps?
Sign more squad players to the set up when we need to get rid of squad players?

Did Slade fiddle with you or something? All you seem to do is post thread after thread of anti Slade bollocks. Get a grip man.

I must assume you can read,if you can't get someone to read my post to you and you will find that I am not in fact criticising Slade, just asking a simple question, as to you're unsavoury comment about being interfered with, try and keep you're comments out of the gutter

Forget last season but this season it appears he is playing the way his teams did previously or the way his philosophy on football is!

Slade philosophy is partnerships, LB/LW, the two cm's, cb's so on so forth. They have to fit that system with a 442.
Beyond that is the play is similar to Dave Jones, the wingers and front two are the chief attackers, while the two in central midfield sit in to soak up the pressure. The advantage over Dave Jones is how the full backs are more involved in the final third, Slade likes them to push forward and help the wingers (ergo partnerships) whereas Dave Jones it was very much a back six and front four.
This seems more effective with Malone and Fabio than Peltier who offers little going forward (albeit a tidy defender) and routinely has pilkington ahead of him who drifts in field.
