He was on £50,000 a week with west ham, our highest paid players is Jones on £37,000, so unless he wants to take a pay cut or city offer good bonuses for goals/promotion, i cant see him fancying it. Therell definitely be other clus willing to give him the wage he wants.
Would be a very good signing, but surely not a financially sensible move?

Your right Slade had No where near a budget to fit Nolan in.

Bolton and QPR are deeper in 
than us !!! so despite his past with Bolton , I cant see him joining them but stranger things have happened.. and QPR are trying to reduce their wage bill to meet FFP.?

What he was on previously doesn't really matter, his contract has been terminated so he is currently earning nothing.
His wage will now be worth whatever someone is willing to pay him now.

Paul, if it happens then he will be taking a drastic cut in wages as City have stopped the big wages for now.
