Sky sports News are stating that whilst 'rumours' claim Marshall is 'set to sign' for WBA persist, sources 'at the club' are saying the offer received from WBA was derisory and David Marshall will not be leaving Cardiff City FC
We need David Marshall as our No.1 (proven yet again last night) so I hope this is correct and this transfer stuff is put to bed once and for all!

It will be a huge boost if he stays, best keeper in the Championship by a mile

You watch some other Premiership club come in for him on transfer deadline day and out do West Brom. Hope he stays but I can't see it myself.

I'm quietly confident that he will stay I really don't see the need in selling him for 5-6m as we are unlikely to use even half that on a new player , we will definately be weaker for it as we wont replace him with anyone as good as him.
If that is the fee also it's a drop in the ocean on our debt so I'd be quite surpised if we did sell tbh

If he stays then I will have a lot more faith in Slade because that to me tells me that Marshall wants to stay and play for him and believes in him as a manager.
