Not really had a chance. He's been in and out of the team, Le Fondre had an extended run of games without goals or any contribution, Macheda on the other hand had contributed with a few goals and assists.

He did show some good last season, I just find him quite lazy. I feel more confident with Revell and that's saying something. I doubt Macheda's going to get many games with the likes of Mason, Jones and Ameobi in front of him.

He's always going to be 'lazy' in the eyes of some that he doesn't contribute by flicking headers on and running everywhere, but what's the end product in that? I would rather have Macheda who can score consistently given the right service or even making his own goals than Revell who despite being at a very older age, barely does score for an actual striker. Macheda is clinical at this level, with his record at Birmingham. If he bides his time then he'll get his chance and hopefully take it, think he's the striker that would be our topscorer if we played him more
