An effective, aggressive midfield player who was man of the match against MK Dons.
He doesn’t have the passing quality or delivery of Peter Whittingham or the physical power of Kagisho Dikgacoi but he was a commanding presence in the middle of the park, keeping things simple and accurate.
O'Keefe injured a knee in one sliding tackle during the second half but wouldn’t go off and battled on.
The former Palace man is just outside the first-choice starting line-up but he is a man City can trust when needed.
Craig Noone

He wasn’t well on the night and at one stage had to rush off the pitch to go the toilet after being affected by the virus in the Cardiff camp.
He came back out though and it was his cross that picked out Alex Revell perfectly for City’s goal. Noone caused problems for Dons’ defenders all evening and continued his positive form.
He has to be patient with Anthony Pilkington and Joe Ralls doing well in the wide areas for Cardiff, but he’s putting those two under pressure.
Bruno Manga

Not a fringe player by any stretch but yet to be involved this season because of injury. It was great to see the big man back. Calm, cool and collected, his quick feet, strength and power make him one of the best Championship defenders around.
The big question is whether he will be ready to start at Nottingham Forest on Saturday? This was a first full game for Manga after injury and he came through it well, but captain Sean Morrison and Matt Connolly have done a solid job while he was out.
It’s Manga or Connolly alongside Morrison at Forest. My feeling is that Connolly will be given the nod for this one but it will only be a matter of time before Manga is back in the starting XI.
