I think it will happen, if it does then it does and we must move on :bluebird:

Well, it's the FULL amount or 'nothing doing' so far as Cardiff City FC are concerned Darran

Personally, I would like him to stay and I think there is a strong chance he will stay. That would be an enormous boost to club, manager and team and those fans who know a good thing when they have it! ;)

It could still go either way, I guess, but the ball is firmly in WBA's court and (as I said earlier) they can either stump up or clear off!

If Marshall goes I will be sad as David has been a great player for us, I can't imagine how much worse our premier league season would have been if he wasn't between the sticks pulling off incredible saves.

Although I would be sad to lose such a quality goalkeeper, I will get over it eventually if he does go. My main concern right now is that if the transfer does go ahead, would we then go out and look for another goalkeeper on the cheap to be simon moore's number 2 or use a good portion of the money to get a real quality goalkeeper, such as Hennessey as many people are suggesting.

I would really worry if we sell David and end up not bringing in another goalkeeper of any quality, Ben wilson as good as the kid is I would not like us going through the season with him as Simon's backup, one wrong move and Moore could be injured or red carded and we will have a goalie who ,no offence to Ben, probably isn't ready for championship football.

In my opinion if this move happens then we need to act quickly, get another goalkeeper in to either replace Marshall and go straight into that number 1 spot or be adequate backup for Simon Moore.

I agree, I think he was always going to go, all our players are available if the price is right.

I also agree, & I think it was always going to be the case that a senior first team player would have to be sacrificed, simply because of the lack of interest in our other highly paid fringe players,,,Guerra in particular.

In these times of austerity I have no problem with Marshall leaving for a decent fee if we can use the money to bring in a replacement and a few other players to fill the obvious gaps in the squad, namely a midfielder and striker.

I also hope a few more leave to get them off the books.
