The Spine

Most managers would say that one of the keys to a good team is the strength of it's spine.
Depending on what happens between now and the end of the transfer window our spine could be Marshall - Manga - Dikgacoi - Jones. I think there would be many Championship teams looking pretty envious at that.
It doesn't mean we have the best team/squad but it's certainly a pretty good starting point and if the others can start upping their game then this season could be more interesting than I'd anticipated
However, if WBA come in for Marshall and we get a serious offer for Jones then things will look pretty thin
