Can only see these being squad players, and free agents.

Unless we sell Marshall, there will be no signings who will improve the first team.

Yep as expected. They will not be any sort of marquee signing unless Marshall goes.

During commentary against wolves, financial fair play rules were cited as main reason.

If true that's fair enuff.

We can challenge if we use the players properly in our squad.

City need a pacy attacking midfielder.

City need a clinical striker.

Ledley and Campbell do not fit either bill.

Jones needs to stay - he's a goal threat. The only one City have. Yes he is paid too much but that's the nature of the beast. He would need to be replaced by someone who can score - Campbell is a willing runner but not good enough.

Campbell would score plenty at Championship level. He's a much better all round striker than Jones and has pace and good movement off the ball. He may not be a Premier player, but we are in the Championship, so let's get players who can perform well at this level. McAleny would be great, or Pritchard on loan from Spurs even better.
