Jones and Ameobi up front would be terrifying

If both played like they did against Wolves that front two would be scary good.

I always admired Wigan's promotion winning strikeforce, Jason Roberts and Natahn Ellington, power and pace.

Jones and Ameobi would frighten every Championship defence !!!

Watching Ameobi on Saturday, it was by far the best he's played so far. Wolves couldn't cope with his pace. There was a period where we went playing long balls for him to chase and it worked really well.

I still say Jones is our best striker.

It should be given a go.
