' CITY EXPECTING A BIGGER OFFER '
WBA had their scouts at the Cardiff City stadium on Saturday v Wolves as well as Blackburn away in midweek to watch David Marshall.
So far WBA have failed to meet Cardiff City's valuation of £5million for the Cardiff City goalkeeper.
But with the transfer deadline on September 1st, an increased offer is expected with WBA showing more and more interest in Marshall.

We would miss him, saved us points already, Moore is piss poor by comparison.
I bet they and other clubs are having a good look at Ralls progress too !!!

Agreed, at least with Marshall we didn't cave in and sell him cheap, if they want him they will have to pay up, I hope they don't !!!

I really hope we don't sell him, he's the backbone of the team.

Myhill looked decidedly iffy yesterday. After that, WBA may decide Marshall is worth the extra money!

I would be gutted if Marshall left as I think him and Jones could get us to the payoffs which is worth more than the £5m we could earn now.

The scouts had fk all to do yesterday tho - no notes at all I think unless they commented on his goal kicks

I hope we don't sell Marshall, but if we do i hope its not a "12th" hr signing on deadline day and we have no chance to sign someone

When I seen Marshall after the game I said I hope your still here in few weeks and he just replied "hmmm" not the answer I was hoping for

He has to stay.people go on about why the crowds are not good etc .This is one of the reasons why .SELL your best players and still expect people to buy season ticket ?

While i wouldn't begrudge Marshall the chance to play in the premier league I hope he stays and think West Brom would be a big mistake for him

I'll be gutted if David Marshall leaves the club but if WBA meets the club's valuation i just hope that the money will be ploughed back into the squad.

It's up to David Marshall if he wants to go, even if WBA meet the asking price. If he wants to keep his Scotland place, he needs to be playing, week-in week-out. Would he be no.1 at the Hawthorns? Foster will be back shortly.

Agree fully with this and (believe this or not

) the situation with Marshall is simple...
Cardiff City are not 'looking' to get him out and Marshall is certainly not 'looking' to leave. However, the club have stated (we all know this!) that every player in the squad has his price and, should that price be realised (£5m in Marshall's case) the player will be allowed to go talk with the other club
City have stated their 'release' price and have stated publicly that if it is not met, Marshall will be going nowhere and they will be more than happy he is still our (and Scotland's) No.1
Over to West Brom to stump up or push off...simples!
