Hope the stadium announcer reads this

Am I the only one who can't really understand much of what he says?

I think it may just be the depth of his voice or maybe he's too near the mic but whatever it is he just isn't doing it for me.

The most annoying thing is though that for the second week on the run he's cut off the final part of Men Of Harlech. There was a call on here last week for us all to sing this as best we could but the daft tw*t cuts it off before the end. Not only is it annoying but it makes the club look totally amateurish just before we kick off.

Can he not hear what's coming out of the speakers or doesn't he realise that this tune is the only one pre match that gets people clapping and sometimes singing together.

Totally agree. Muffled sound at best. It was loud but not able to understand one word sitting in middle of Ninian Stand.

Also either I am going blind or the large screens need attention. Whatever type face they are using for the team players lists is poor. Almost unreadable.

I don't think it's the announcer, it's the PA system. I don't know if it's awaiting repair, but the sound (not just the announcer, but the music) wasn't this bad in Ninian 116 last season.

As for Men of Harlech, that's annoyed me as well. Not only that, but they're playing Men of Harlech earlier than they used to. Used to be on just as the players were out on the pitch. Not the announcer's fault though, it's this new person who's come in to do the pre-match music - he's a DJ and I think he calls himself "Giggsy".

I'd also forget to mention the other really annoying thing that's happened for the last two weeks. I like the pictures of players now coming up on the big screen but thay are not the same as the ones the announcer is spouting. It should be really simple to coordinate a picture and a players name, then wait (just a f*cking nano second) for a cheer or bit of applause before moving on to the next one. It's just another one of those missed opportunities to galvanise our support and players in that important last couple of minutes before kick off.

We are constantly messing up what should be the simplest of things. I don't care whether it's a radio presenter, a DJ or whatever but for f**k sake we should at least getting the simple things right.
