Now let's look at the results so far, can I complain after yesterday, no losses, nicely early placed, well yes actually and somehwat disappointed as well.

Because I've watched a lot of the championship so far and to be honest, a lot of teams have disappointed me, none more so than Wolves and QPR last week. Now I know it's early days and many teams are blending and finding their feet but actually at this moment in time I'm not sure who is going to roll us over - can we play another 5 league games during the international break? So that's a positive isn't it?

So let's move on to the team, well it doesn't take a genius to see why Jones makes the team tick, the amount of work Mason does (but Slade should have hauled him off with 15 to go, he was out on his feet!) - sounds like he's been to Dave the Moans school of manager substitutions!

Ralls, again outstanding, Fabio was man of the match for me by a mile, a country mile!

I didn't think I'd be saying this but we should win at Forrest, but I still think we need some more quality in midfield and up front and I think some of Slade's signings need to be moved out to make way - bite the bullet uncle fester, shit happens!

So overall not bad but the teams we have come up against haven't set the world alight yet (and to be honest, Wolves were poor yesterday) but I'll give credit there that city found them out and turned them over - and kept their star striker quiet, very quiet.

So not excited about it yet, still think some city players are no more than league 1 and some should be moved on.

Shame about the international break, we could have kept rolling.......................

We should have beaten qpr. We beat wolves. Should have beaten blackburn.

3 teams id have there and about for promotion before the season.

If we can beat these, we can beat anyone. It is just getting in this type of form when it counts.

didn't get exited about Malky either, he did a job and then let himself down. Interestingly our best performance so far was with last years players!

What I'm most pleased about so far this season is we finally have a group of players that are organised and know their roles. We have to give Slade credit for giving them a platform to work from because the past 18 months our set up has looked completely clueless and disorganised. The players seem to have bought into it and the fitness levels, work rate and hunger is a million times better than it was last year. It's early days but I'm pleasantly surprised and I'm sure we can all agree that the football has improved and there is togetherness growing between the pitch and the stands.

Agree with you on this gwent.i think as much as it's early in the season we can afford to give the players and staff credit for the performances. We might have caught wolves on an off day even qpr but surely that's football especially early in the season and that's why playing supposed contenders early is a good thing in my opinion.

If Slade took us up with the restrictions put upon him and you still cannot like what he did then you do not deserve an opinion and should ask administrators to delete your post.

Most people who didn't want him as a manager (me included) would be strong enough to admit they were wrong, but you are obviously not that strong. It's not as if he is a bad manager with a tonne of money to spend where EVERYONE would succeed.

That's because we have kept them quiet wolves, qpr and Blackburn Wil be there or there abouts come the end of the season
I don't agree we need to strengthen the midfield to me it looks balanced and very strong also gunnar on the bench
Up front we need a pacey striker although Mason does a good job I think don't think he has the pace to stretch defences
