So why would Slade not have started with them ??

He's a lucky man to have these players to choose from, he's brought in some cheap back up and options and got our underachieving stars performing.

Slade is getting the best out of the players and making them play like a team, not as individuals, he should be applauded. Unfortunately, for a few, he will never be able to do anything right. But most city fans are seeing that he is making a difference.

Shows he's doing a good job, sorting out last seasons shit and getting them into a side hard to beat. Similar to what Malky did although he had to put together a side from scratch.

With the budget he's allowed he will struggle to bring in players who match the ability of the players brought in before hand.

Totally agree.

Slade & Trollope is a good combo clearly. Don't care how it came about. Didn't rate Slade to begin with, save for Leeds home result last season where I was overcome with joy.

It's time to back Slade, not a single fan wanted him but he got on with it and may have the last laugh yet by getting a home crowd singing his name should our good form continue!

Do you not understand it's a squad game?.. Slade has had to sell alot of his squad, thus replacing them with lower budget players so yeah the high priced players are guna generally be of higher quality and starters. But he needed reliable squad players and he's bought them. Look at the bigger picture and give it a rest.
