" Russell Slade/The Squad/The Team Yest & The Match "

FIRST MAY I SAY,THERE WERE A LOT OF POSITIVES THAT CAME OUT OF YESTERDAYS EXCELLENT WIN OVER WOLVES :thumbright: :ayatollah:

Russell Slade,The jury is still out for me,but I really really want him to succeed and prove me wrong and thousands of others :ayatollah:
We must give him time even if we suddenly lost to Forest ect,I said at least 10-12 games this season will tell us where he is taking us :thumbright:

The Squad is there, still a big one,but yesterday proved its full of quality players :ayatollah:

The team yesterday showed they can really perform on the day against a strong Wolves team and City deservedly won :ayatollah:

The match yesterday could easily have been 4-0 to Cardiff, that for me says a lot :ayatollah:

Nottingham Forest here we come :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Before yesterday's kick-off there was a group of players which included amongst others Bruno Magna, Aron Gunnarsson, Sammy Ameobi, Alex Revel and Craig Noone who were playing a game of football piggy in the middle. What struck me was how well they seemed to get on with each other and there were plenty of smiling faces and happy footballers despite the fact some of them were not starting.

I haven't seen that at CCS for a long time. Yes I have seen in the past players training on the pitch pre-match in a very professional manner but you never see a real togetherness as they either train alone, with their best buddy or a coach. Yesterday was a huge contrast and I believe I saw a true togetherness which has to be down to the coaching staff.

The proof was an almost complete performance where we beat a very able side 2-0 with a physical effort and mental spirit of everyone helping each with a collective will to win.

Rather than waiting for a Jury verdicts the supporters should take a leap of faith and just back Slade to what would be an achievement far bigger than 2013 and one to rival the 1927 FA Cup success, a return to the Premiership 2016.

It was the manner in which we saw the victory out, more than the scoreline that impressed me.

Long may it continue and let's get in that top 6 and stay in amongst it!
