During the game whenever Witts did something allegedly wrong - he was verbally criticised. Coming out of the game a number were again saying what he did not do. But hang on a minute - he works his socks off, covers for others when they go forward, seldom gives the ball away and is forging a strong relationship with Digachoi Ralls and Malone/ Fabio. Mr Dependable will one day gain the praise he deserves. To me he is composure itself and when on the ball - forget lack of pace- is the best footballer at the club by a country mile. Well done Witts!! Don't let the daft beggars grind you down.

Couldn't agree more. We would struggle without Whittingham.

He is by far the best footballer at the club .
The problem is most fans don't see the little passes or through balls he plays . The deep playmaker role he is currently occupying doesn't do his talent justice but he is playing it very well and is a vital cog in this Cardiff team IMO .
We would be a lot poorer without him and only when he's gone will a lot of fans realise his input into this and every team in the last 8 years

Living legend and put in a great shift today and very rarely gives the ball away and I got him on the back my shirt yesterday before the game and wasn't disappointed at the end the day

What were the teams' results when he was absent from the line-up last season?

Easy target for our fans. Same fans who say they expect us to finish mid-table but then go nuts when we aren't beating every team we play - God knows how they think winning every game would see us finish mid-table mind you.
He's a city legend already, and still one of our best players.

Well said, because were used to him setting the world alight people don't know see what good he does in this new role as he's got a bit older. Myth about whitts being lazy is utter bollocks.
