City were fantastic

Coming into this game I thought City would struggle against a pacy Wolves team, but I'm very happy I was wrong. When I saw the team sheet I was very happy, Kenwyne and Fabio, two of our best players, were in the starting line up.

The first ten minutes were Wolves dominating possession, but not threatening Marshall in the City goal.

City weathered the storm and looked quite dangerous when they attacked. Mason and KJ found pockets if space and were making nice lay offs to the midfield and wingers.

Mason missed a great chance to put City in front after great build up from Ralls. He must start taking these chances, it could have been costly today.

City were certainly holding their own against Wolves, and in the 44th minute Kenwyne did brilliantly to head Cardiff into the lead after a good cross from Fabio. :ayatollah: Shame about his injury.

Half time 1-0 :bluescarf:

The first ten minutes of the second half fizzled out. Cardiff were still playing decent football, much better than what we saw last season. :ayatollah:

Fabio was really impressing me. He was showing 110% commitment and effort and his tackles were well timed. Good to see him back in the side.

Kenwyne missed a good chance to put City 2-0 up after Peltier found his way round the back of the Wolves defence. Unfortunately he injured himself during the process, hopefully not too serious.

Ameobi replaced Kenwyne and within the first two minutes made it 2-0. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

From there City just saw the game out for a comfortable two nil win.

City fans, we can't complain. Canton stand were fantastic today and the team put in a great performance. We are now 7th in the league, within touching distance of the play offs.

We are also still unbeaten. :bluescarf: :sladein: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

James it took us 30 minutes to grow in to the game and we were desperate for some pace as the middle was neat and tidy but we couldn't stretch them. After the goal we just got better
