It took him a long time, still better late than never, we have a great squad with Macheda Manga and Turner to come back in and Ameobi, Jones and Fabio playing so well, we have a strong bench in addition to the first team.
I like the way the players celebrate the team spirit looks much better than it has done for years, a promising start to the season

Jones not fit after his injury and Ameobi not ready for 90 mins just yet.
Could have picked Jones and made his injury worse and had him out for 6 months.
Ameobi could have had a mare, remember how poor he was v Fulham and had his confidence destroyed.
Slade is doing OK so far, seems to have got the balance right.
Also anyone else notice how organised and well drilled we were today ? 2 banks of 4 and a Wolves side shut out for the first one in 19 games.

Pressed higher up today and never really looked in trouble
