" Latest on Manga and Macheda "

Russell Slade on Manga and Macheda...

Both making good progress. Remains to be seen whether one or both can make the bench v Wolves. There's plenty of football on the horizon, Tuesday may be ideal.

Bruno is a good player when he's right. We need to bring him up to speed.

Will be a massive relief when we have Manga back. Morrison and Connolly just isn't working.

When everyone's fit, I would start Manga and Turner.

Macheda has a lot to prove this season. He can score goals, he proved that at Birmingham and Doncaster, but it's a big season for him.

Macheda is still only young 22 (two years younger than Joe Mason) so while I agree this is an important season for him .
I think we have also got to cut him some slack as he still has a lot to learn , but in saying that I think he will score us a lot of goals .
He can score goals out of nothing and he has that greedy/ selfish attitude all good goal scorers have.
Manga we are missing big time , and when they both come back (here we go) it will be like two new signings.

I stand corrected he's actually only 4 months younger than mason .
So this season could be the defining season for both of them. Will they became goalscoring heroes or just average journeymen ???????
