Someone mentioned his name the other day, I got round to thinking... why not offer a trial?

He's still youngish at 25, seems to be a target man - could be backup to Bothroyd, something we need, more potential than 34 yr old Howard. 1860 Munich looking to offload, he was at Plymouth last season, wouldn't be anywhere near the ridiculous money Ridders claimed.

True - but equally, Plymouth already have an established target man in Fallon. They may have tried Cooper playing off him - may not have been his ideal role.

Who knows? We've had interest before, the German club he's at want rid, he could give us the option we're missing when Bothroyd is unavailable. Can't hurt to take a look.

Yeah very true, i would buy him as long at its not stupid money, even have him on loan for 3 months and have a option to buy him for around 300k?

we made a bid for him a few years ago and he turned us down to stay with fc dallas theres the ambition of the player. but we do need cover for boothroyd thou urgently and have done for some time
