t tattooed on backside after Cardiff City flop proves to be Champions League sensation
FRIDAY 21st AUGUST 2015
BY SIMON GASKELL
Berget - a failure at Cardiff City and Celtic - came back to haunt the Hoops during a Champions League qualifier on Wednesday night
Cardiff City flop Jo Inge Berget's two goals against former loan club Celtic on Wednesday could literally prove a pain for one Bhoys fan - who promised to get the striker's name tattooed on his backside if he scored.
Berget failed to impress during a loan spell at Celtic last season after flopping in similar fashion for Cardiff following a move to South Wales from FK Molde in January 2014.
That led Celtic supporter Aidan O'Brien to take to Twitter ahead of Celtic's Champions League qualifier with Berget's new club Malmo and confidently say that, if Berget got his name on the score sheet, he would have his name branded on his buttocks.
If Jo Inge Berget scores against us tonight I'll get his name tattooed on my arse, the guys awful

Berget duly scored twice in Malmo's 3-2 defeat with a strike in the 52nd minute and last-gasp finish in the 95th minute which keeps the Swedish teams hopes of progressing alive when they host Celtic next week.
As yet it is unclear whether Mr O'Brien, whose story made the national Swedish media, has gone through with his pledge but after Berget's goalscoring performance he tweeted at him, saying: "You have no idea how much I hate you right now."

Berget is a name all Cardiff City fans will remember - but sadly as one of the club's worst ever signings.
Arriving from Molde with a respectable record of roughly a goal in every four games, he didn't even play four games for Cardiff and failed to make an impression during the brief appearances he did make.
Berget had one outing from the start against Wigan in an FA Cup tie before being replaced just after the hour by Craig Noone and had just one taste of Premier League action when he came off the bench during the Bluebirds' disastrous 4-0 home reversal against Hull.
Eventually he was loaned to Celtic barely six months after arriving in South Wales.

That article is harsh.
To fail you need an oppotunity, an opportunity he did not truly get at either clubs.
His goalscoring record prior to coming to us was decent for a young lad and he was given ONE game in the first team for us against Wigan in the cup where he was stuck out wide and did ok I felt.
He scored 2 goals in 4 appearances for Celtic hardly a fail in the little chance he had.
Lazy jounalism at its finest.
