Championship levels/ The English game

Thu Aug 20, 2015 9:57 pm

Often i read and hear about the Championship level and the English game. From my perspective its a whim from the past..
From my perspective - from abroad, i feel very few of you have any perspective of what moves arround the continent. You label a league poor, and such all players and teams poor. Truth is, from my perspective anyway.., and i am not alone..That continental football have evolved rapidly. The English game not so much, but it has evolved... That said, Premier League is if nothing else exiting, but the general level of skill is nothing to brag about, as its ONE of. its not.. The old myth, championship, wet Tuesdays, hard work and physicality above anything else is in the past!.. More and more teams look to play the ball, and know they will attract better players for it,, and built a sustainable football philosophy. The Jacks did. Just like that! Im sure that im not the only one watching football from all around the world and enjoying what it has to offer. But please dont think that Championship level is anything but just that, be-course its not! It has a good tempo, it has excitement of future glory and the economics is staggering. But its myth of physicality and wet Tuesdays is nothing but a myth, or at best a past glory...
Last years Championship was exiting. Both in terms of the football being served, and long term planning.. Truth be told, long term football philosophy has won, and the short term, quick road to success got one hell of a beating. The point of this post? Maybe its better options out there, and please stop treating the Championship like its one of, course its not :bluescarf:
Ohhh.. and, :sladeout:
