' HOPING TIME DOESN'T RUN OUT '

City appear to be holding out for their asking price for David Marshall, West Brom up to this point won't raise their offer but City are holding firm and are looking for £5m plus add ons which would take the figure to near £6m if certain conditions are met.

If Marshall does leave then City claim to have a replacement lined up and that keeper is from a Premier League club.

Much has been said that City have to sell before they can bring in any notable additions, Slade wants a centre midfielder and a striker.

I am told that Slade is pushing for a striker, even if they don't sell, and hopes he will be backed by the club.

Slade is believed to want a tall, powerful striker who is more mobile than Kenwyne Jones.

As much as Alex Revell is a hard worker and mobile he certainly hasn't got the goal scoring instinct that Slade wants from his tall frontman.

If City do receive an improved offer for Marshall I just hope the manager is given the go ahead and there is enough time left in this window for Slade to bring in one or two of his targets.

We had a rough diamond of a front man who is mobile and we chose to sell him for peanuts! What we'd give to have Rudy back

Why Sign Doyle then if he don't play him and revell if he don't cut it. Some managers baffle me, look at o'keefe signed him he don't play

Some managers just like familiar faces and characters and put that before ability, especially walking into the wilderness
at city your going to want a friend or two

Most managers do it, they sign players they know they can rely on on to give 100% and bring unity to the squad, something we needed last season after ole.

If Marshall goes I would give it to Moore and get another stiker and midfielder.I think we could lose Moore in the end if we recruit a ready made replacement for Marshall.
I believe Moore will become top class player, hopefully for The Bloobirds :bluescarf: .
