Think he would be ideal and what we need right now

He has been linked in the press with Notts Forest although there is interest from Marseille apparently.

I would prefer the Palace captain (won't even try to spell his name) Australian captain, scores goals led Palace to promotion, available, would make a great captain, boss the midfield and pull the strings. Played every game for them last season in the Premiership, him and Dikgacoi have previous would be a great partnership, striker with pace and I believe we would at least make top six. Think Barton would be a good signing but sadly can't see it. I seem to remember he has been quite scathing regarding Tan.
