Blackburn two second half comments

Listened to the match commentary as I couldn't get there tonight.

Two stand out comments in the second half radio commentary.

First - Kenwyn Jones just doesn't look interested. He can't even be bothered to move just 5 yards to try and get his head to the ball.

Seems he's back to his best then!

Second - cardiff haven't troubled the Blackburn keeper since they scored after the first few minutes.

They went on to say that not one Cardiff striker looks capable of hitting double figures and I think I agree.

Sounded like we were lucky to come away with a draw at the end?

With regards to our strikers I stated before the start of the season that I could not see Doyle, Mason, Macheda and Ravell score more than 30-35 goals between them. Doyle is the best out of those 4 and I could see him get into double figures but unfortunately he cannot get a game.

Yep I feel sorry for Doyle. He's proved he knows where the goal is, albeit in a lower division.

He grabbed a couple of goals at one stage last season and I remember during that phase he snatched the ball from someone to take a penalty, which in my opinion showed that he was desperate to do well.

Sadly though I think for whatever reason Slade isn't giving him a real chance. Strikers need to have a decent run of games to gain confidence and for me his pedigree is as good as the players we seem to play up front. I think he deserves more!

100% agree. He has a habit of offloading our best players or leaving them on the bench. The bench has been stronger than our starting 11! Noone, Jones, Doyle, Ameobi, Fabio, et al. Other teams must be laughing at us.

That's not a bench....its a sales window. Just surprised there's not a "must go" or "reduced for quick sale" sign behind them all.
