COMING TO THE CLUB :ayatollah:

It's been well documented that a powerful striker is at the top of Russell Slade's shopping list but how much he has to spend will depend on whether or not David Marshall is sold.

WalesOnline understands Slade missed out on his original target but is prepared to launched more bids as the deadline looms.

If he does leave for anywhere near £5m the Bluebirds are angling for, a central midfielder and a new keeper, most likely on loan from the Premier League will also join Slade's wanted list.

LEAVING THE CLUB :ayatollah:

Javi Guerra was wanted by Malaga after spending a spell there last season but the move has been hamstrung by a salary cap at the La Liga club. His move seems dependant on him reaching an agreement to terminate his Cardifff City contract.

As mentioned, David Marshall could be Cardiff's biggest name casualty, with West Brom showing massive interest and Kenwyne Jones is the only other player who has been linked to a move this summer - with MLS club Columbus Crew reportedly chasing his signature.

Cardiff loan midfielder Filip Kiss to FK Haugesund

Cardiff City midfielder Filip Kiss has joined Norwegian side FK Haugesund on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old Slovakian joined the Bluebirds on loan from SK Slovan Bratislava in July 2011 and he made 13 starts in the Championship that season.
That persuaded former Cardiff manager Malky Mackay to make the deal permanent 12 months later.
But Kiss failed to hold down a first-team place after that and had two loan spells in Scotland with Ross County.
The loan to Haugesund is subject to international clearance.
