UPDATE ON A FEW CARDIFF CITY PLAYERS :ayatollah:

I would def bring in Noone and Jones to the starting eleven tonight.

David Marshall is back from his 3 match ban, be interesting if Slade plays him or sticks with Moore?

Only 2 players still out injured for the Bluebirds - Manga and Turner.

Dikgacoi is not fit enough to play 90 minutes yet but he can't be far off full match fitness which is good news.

Joe Mason and Alex Revell have started the first two league matches but this has massively split opinions, will Slade drop Revell and bring in Jones?

Alex Revell is nowhere near the quality that Cardiff City need to push for a place in the play-offs but he's obviously got a good relationship with Slade.

Kenwyne Jones is the obvious choice to replace Revell in the starting eleven. He seems to fit into Russell Slade's system and was Cardiff's top goal scorer last season.

Despite criticism that he is lazy he still continues to get goals and be a menace for defences. He has hardly stopped playing since the end of last season and played very well for Trinidad and Tobago in the Gold Cup.

Also, be interesting to see whether Slade brings Noone into the starting eleven, bringing Joe Ralls back to his usual midfield role

I don't think this has massively split opinions. I am pretty certain the fans are unanimous in believing that Revell and Mason doesn't and won't work... mainly of course down to Revell.

Yes Jones should start tonight but Slade does seem to like Revell.

Thanks Santa Ponsa :D

Quick question; How long does it take a player to regain match fitness (I suppose it's different? I mean I know Dikgacoi is a big chap (and always has been I think) but I guess if they're training every day and have nutritionists to suit their diets, how long would it take on average?

I like Jones but there is no way he can start week in week out, like some are calling on here, he's not fit enough. In my opinion he doesn't offer the team enough all around to start, I think Slades right on this one (although I disagree with Revell starting).
Personally I would like see Doyle and Mason upfront again but I think we need another striker to replace Revell, haven't seen much of Macheda to comment on him but going on what everyone says on here then no but he hasn't got a bad record at this level.
But tonight I would have to say Jones, I think Blackburn will be shaky after the start they've had and I think he can cause some issues with their defence which is far from solid

Although Moore has done well Marshy is the better keeper so should start. Noone also deserves to start. perhaps we can move Ralls into the middle then?
