Slade is growing on me

City may not be firing on all cylinders but there is massive improvement in the way we're playing, looking more like a team and slowly building something special.
I think we're a work in progress at the moment but there are good times ahead, I am sure of this.
Malone will be a fan favourite, the guy has something about him, bit of a lad about the town, and i think he will give all in every game.

Totally agree, I've liked Malone from the start, I'm sure that opposing fans will now after that screamer

not convinced Slade will be able to get enough out of the side to keep us around the top 6 for the whole season. but there is no doubt that the players are on board with what he's trying to do.

I'm not a Slade fan as I believe he is far too rigid in his formation and doesn't seem to know who is best strike partnership is. Personally I would like to see Doyle and Macheda or Doyle and Jones start. However hard Revell works, he just won't score enough for me and Mason isn't really quick enough to be a fox in the box. He is better in a 4-5-1 in my opinion.
However, there is no doubt that we are playing more attractive football and the players do seem up for it, so I will give him credit for a reasonably positive start. If we can start to find the back of the net then who knows we could finish higher than originally anticipated as we have pretty much dominated both league games so far and created far more chances than either Fulham or QPR. The time to really judge is Christmas when we have played everybody once and we will have a better idea of how the league is shaping up.
