It's our fans that's clueless part 2

Mon Aug 17, 2015 10:38 am

Part 2 as promised my opinion of why slade has got the starting 11 right and the right players on the bench
With Marshall banned / expected to leave Simon Moore has been our no 1 and shown enough to be an adequate replacement
And I'm sure his mistake against Fulham will have taught him a valuable lesson
The centre backs pick themselves as our other 2 are out injured
Now to the fullbacks ,Malone has proved the right choice at left back ,
So that leaves peltier or Fabio ,IMO,peltier is a better defender and away from home especially that's what is needed ,also Fabio can cover both full back positions and in an emergency give cover at midfield/ left wing
So again IMO slade got the back 5 spot on
Digikio and ralls does allow whitts to do what he wants and pilkington has good defensive qualities as well as his attacking ability ,that leaves o Keefe on the bench with gunnerson as our midfield options ,and the way the starters are performing can't see why we would change ,
Up front the way slade is picking Mason and revell IMO does the trick away from home these 2 defend from the front rather well enabling us to get the ball back quite quickly ,they also make clever runs giving our midfield options and also creating space ,also pulling there defence about and tiring them out ready for our plan b .
Now if noone was a starter as last season proved it only takes about 20 minutes for there defender to work him out ,but as a sub coming on when digikio goes off noone is up against defenders who are getting tired ,IMO that's why noone has been so effective this season ,we then have ameobi who is still trying to get up to speed available as a sub for pilks or revell
And also kenwynne Jones ,another player that can't last 90 minutes as another option for revell, plus Doyle ,all these subs are game changers after the starters have tired the opposition out.
So I am so amazed some think slades team is not the right one ,I've asked some to say what they would change and have been told all sorts like macheda who is coming back from injury guerra who obviously will not play for city again ,noone for whitts that would leave us exposed IMO ,also some one said bring the young kid from arsenal in at the back he needs more time not sure he's ready at 19teen ,but all these different opinions just goes to show that picking a team to play the way the manager wants it to play and to choose the back up on the bench to cover and change things when needed is so so difficult ,one thing for sure IMO is slade is defo not clueless and he is defo the man for the job that tan has made so difficult ,
So give him the respect he deserves for getting on with it and the improvements he is slowly getting out of our players :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird: Russell slades barmy army :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I will practice what I preach and say that you are absolutely right
to your opinions, I just wish that they had been made with a degree of brevity

If your willing to take some advice from an old has been, keep your points short and relevant, not three page essays, also if you can avoid the temptation of adorning your posts with a cartoon character, I would do so,simply because it detracts from making a serious point, if that is what your trying to do
