Ledley not even on the bench today he needs game time to make the Welsh squad

If he's not playing he will want first team football , he's better than the championship but if we could pull it off would be a fantastic signing

Really can't see it though :(

Me neither :( But we'll be getting about £5m up front from WBA, surely that's enough to fund it?

Do you think us signing Ledley could put a few more thousand on the gate attendance?

People love a return of an old favourite, and he's exactly what we're looking for in our midfield. Should definitely be looked into by the club

Let him rot.

I'd take any of them.
All good players

That's a little harsh, but no CCS return for Ledley is my opinion too!

If Tan wants to reap the riches of the PL he should buy all 3. Speculate to accumulate.

Most definitely, we would love a youth academy product to return, especially in the predicament we find ourselves in

If we sell Marshall we should try for Hennessey, Ledley and Campbell.

Forget Campbell, he wants to play premier league football.

Be happy with Hennessey and Ledley, and if we can get Williams on loan, that would be a bonus.

Re: Joe Ledley AVAILABLE?!

Forget the fact that he's Welsh and a Cardiff lad Joe would fit right into this hard working side.

Just the player we need on the left side of midfield to challenge Ralls/Whitts.

Hennesey is third choice now at palace. If we sell Marshy then I would get him in to compete with Moore. I would take Bannan too, tidy player!

If we get £5m for Marshall, I reckon that no more than about £500,000 will be available for transfers.

Tan's not interested in the Premier League any more. He justs wants to recoup as much as he can as soon as possible.

Course he is interested in prem he just wants to do it on a small budget like burnley, jacks, Bournemouth, Watford and palace have done over the years. It can be done, oh and Blackpool

Agree. Having a premier league club must be the pinicle for any club owner. Especialy someone like tan who no doubt is the type that loves all the riches, prestige,, and publicity that comes with it......hes just realised (as rich as he is) it can destroy you trying to get there if you ain't careful. He's invested a fair bit into football clubs over the last few seasons. He most definitely wants a premier league club. No other league comes close to it in terms of world exposure...and as a business man, that's what you aim for.

OOPS! 64JACK's back just in time to add yet another negative comment about a team he neither watches or supports; even though his own (alleged) team are doing pretty well ATM!

Duluded thinking. The three names would want big wages, something we are not paying anymore and why ALL OTHER high earners at the club can leave if the offers rite. If Marshall goes then we be lucky to see 500k of it. City fans on planet bonkers as we all know tan is trying to pillage what he can within the club.

Re: Joe Ledley AVAILABLE?!

If Ledley is for sale then I am sure that Mr Pulis at WBA would sign him in an instant , Joe wants Premier League football and at this moment in time would not consider a move to any Championship club let alone City .

Although I agree the possibility of signing any of these players are remote, I wouldn't agree that they are on big wages from the outside Palace look like a well run club and would be surprised if they offered the ridiculous type of wages we offered during the Malky & Ole management period. But on current evidence still out of our budget

I'd love him back but we have a lot of midfielders already. We'd need to sell Gunnarsson or someone of that ilk to have room for Joe.

How about a loan move similar to Bellamy's first spell?

It's nothing to do with being negative Sven. Quite simply, you cannot go down that road anymore. The only thing you've speculated and accumulated is more and more debt it can't go on, and quite surprised that such an experienced poster such as Carpe Diem seriously thinks you should go down that route!
As for not watching or supporting your club. I grew up with my dad taking me too Ninian Park on several occasions, so as I've said on here previously, I don't quite feel that hatred for my local rivals that you may think I do. Also I did watch your game Saturday night. I couldn't quite believe how Qpr managed to get a 2 goal lead over you guys, as you were by far the better team. Justice was done .....maybe, as I thought on the balance of play you deserved all 3 points. But this is the road you have to go down now and put faith in your manager to build a settled side, and get behind them. That way you just might make the play offs and who knows get into the prem via the back door without getting into more debt. Then there really will be hope for the future. :thumbright:
Yes, my own (alleged) team are doing very well. Though why exactly did you say alleged? Do you think I'm a Cardiff fan on here pretending to be a Swansea fan? :laughing6:

Though anything is possible on here  ...........................I'm not by the way! :?

I've no doubt you are a Swansea fan (regardless of childhood visits to NP) but that does pose the question "What changed?" :?

Ha Ha! Nothing changed Sven. Always been a jack, but when my dad used too take me, it was in the days of Swansea being really shit playing in front of 1500 every week. So it was kind of special going to Cardiff to watch you play teams like Spurs Man Utd etc. And besides, you had hot dog and hamburger stalls, we never had them in Swansea in those days. Just cold pasties and bovril!
