My mmates a Rovers fan and described to me a player not dissimilar to Earnie.

A little frustrating in decision making. But always pops up with the goals.

Known Ellis since he was about 8 He played with my son at Newport County before my son was signed for Cardiff He is quick but not exceptionally quick I remember him playing against Cardiff in a tournament in Shrewsbury all be a few years back now and he did not have the pace to out run the Cardiff boys Theo Wharton was much quicker than him
He was a very strong lad but again he was much bigger than most his age and tended to use strength over technique ? I remember him being a big of a head down player with a shot that could take you head off even as a youngster.

A couple of mates who are Rovers fans do say he can be the most frustrating of players and still very raw He is certainly not the answer to our forward issues at present but could develope into a decent striker with some good coaching He is a late developer as up to age 16 he certainly did not have anything that made you think he was a good player or anywhere near enough good enough for academy teams of any decent level
The good points are that he has developed into a better player and hopefully will continue to

If it's just pace we need, what about Usain Bolt?

I saw him yesterday play and score against Yeovil. He is big and a caused problems against a poor Yeovil defence. He certainly is not quick. Has a very explosive shot and would have scored three but for some outstanding saves.
Difficult to tell if he could step up a division or two but certainly worth watching for the future.
