When I saw the team line up yesterday I must admit I thought Slade had got it wrong. Noone had to have played today and the decision to start Revell bemused me even further, but his substitutions today were faultless and got us a point.
First twenty minutes QPR had all of the ball without troubling us at all. City fans were fantastic, got behind the team from minute one and gave them a kick up the backside when they needed it.
City were just getting into their stride and looking the better team when Peltier made a stupid mistake and gave away a corner, which QPR scored from.
Awful marking. They looked dangerous from corners throughout the game, mind you, so did we.
Just before half time City went into sloppy mode and fans sang "Russell, sort it out" and "spend some money".
Second half Cardiff fans were in full voice, really backing the team, and it seemed to have an effect on the players. We looked the better side until sloppy marking cost us again. Austin scored, 2-0 Rangers.
On 59 minutes, just after the second goal, Slade bought on Kenwyne for donkey Revell and it made all the difference. Suddenly we looked much the better team and Kenwyne was winning everything in the air.
City were enjoying a good period of pressure and the 1000 fans behind the goal were loving it. We won a corner, great delivery by Whitts and our captain, Sean Morrison rose highest and did well to guide it into the bottom corner. It gave City fans some belief behind the goal. I actually thought Morrison played well. Looked really composed and made some great tackles, whilst Connolly looked very shaky.
The goal gave City 10x more energy. Noone, who should have started, came on. Immediately the ball was fed out to him, he knocked it up the line and the left back had a five second head start on him. He breezed past the defender no problem, and poor Konchesky didn't know what to do. It set up a chance. I think Noone must start on Tuesday.
City threw bodies forward in an attempt to get a leveller, and QPR made the most of it. Charlie Austin had a chance cleared off the line, while Simon Moore silenced his crtics with some wonderful saves throughout the match, including denying Matt Phillips in a 1-on-1 chance at 2-1.
Jay Emmanuel Thomas came on for Rangers to huge boos from the Cardiff faithful. He missed a sitter to kill the game off.
Cardiff fans sang "USA" at Rob Green.
The game looked to be petering out. Ameobi was sent on for Pilks, who I thought looked positive and had a good game.
City mounted one last attack the ball found itself to Malone on the edge of the box. He had no options. He set himself up for a shot which dipped into the top corner. City fans were in shock for a few seconds wondering whether it had really happened, but then it sunk in and we went absolutely mental.
I got crushed and we all started hugging any bluebird we could reach.

Great scenes
City fans went mental for about five minutes and you honestly couldn't even hear yourself think. Even my Dad who never sings City songs was the loudest in the ground.
Full time, 2-2. City fans gave the players a standing ovation at the end, and Sladey came over to a huge applause!
We were in the concourse area coming out of the ground still in shock and going mental! We were a bit noisy in the terraces and a few QPR idiots tried to kick off trouble. Police didn't have a clue.
Some idiot who by chance looked just like Scott Malone was the main trouble maker.
Only downer to a great day was me being sick on the bus twice, the excitement must have got to me!
All in all, great day at Loftus Road. One of my best days following City. The feeling when the ball hit the back of the net in injury time was immense.
City fans were incredible aswell. Hopefully we can take that into home games. We sang at 2-0 down 10x louder than the Rangers fans, including the anthem twice.
Hope everyone had a safe trip home.
