KIKO MACHEDA

Ideally i think id rather us sign a quality striker to partner mason.

But with macheda to come back from injury he is another option for us.
People say hes lazy etc and i agree to a certain extent but no1 can deny he has quality and scores goals.

We are playing much better football this season and creating much more chances and this would benefit macheda and if he is kept fit in this team maybe he could be the clinical goalscorer we need.
Opinions?

People say Macheda is lazy,it's because he doesn't run around like an headless chicken.
How many good strikers chase worthless causes,we keep saying we need a striker who can score 1 in 2 chances,I think if he played regular maybe with Mason or Doyle he could be the answer,he has good movement and can find space, also can score goals out of nothing.
How many goals did he score last season and from how many games?
If we could rotate Kiko and KJ.
They could score enough goals especially as we seem to be playing a little different this season.

Yeh i agree. He always seems to be doing well then gets injured. If kept fit could be a very good player this season.

If kiko was playing yesterday with the posession football and chances being created he would have scored a goal or 2 and i think we would have won.

Macheda is a lazy, arrogant waste of space...with no team ethic..happy for everyone else to put a shift in while he strolls around.

Bottles every challenge...wins nothing in the air...and always getting"injured"

Never want to see him in a City shirt again

Its a shame he is injury prone because he is a quality striker.

Think hes a good player when fit, he save Birmingham 2 years ago with 10 goals in 18

Yes!! Why do people expect strikers like Jones and Macheda to run all day long to chase balls? Macheda is technically good, he creates his own chances and is a clinical finisher. Once he comes back from injury I'd like to see him in contention of playing.

I agree with you to be fair. Macheda is such a frustrating player but no doubt had talent. And as you say we are playing better football and maybe just maybe we could see the best of him :bluebird:

When you expecting him back? Christmas time probably. How many games did he play last season?
Goals to games ratio might be high?
Lazy player, generally unfit but can score goals. Too much of a luxury in the championship.
