While of course we are pleased with pulling it out of the bag at the end one wonders how different it could have been if Noone had started for Ralls or Whitts (and shifting Ralls into the centre) and Jones instead of Ravell.
Jones would have defend set pieces and given something for Noone and Pilkington to aim at.
Baffling why Noone and Jones were overlooked.
I just can't see what Ravell offers.
Three games in and 4 goals scored - none by a striker, tells its own story.

It tells a story that Slade can not find the right combination up front and that he needs to sort it out quickly, even if that means buying in some quality
